Tamara and Ruen | Sunrise engagement shoot

I photographed Tamara and Ruen’s Lighthouse sunrise engagement shoot in Umhlanga and it was peach of a day, i’m always a little worried when scheduling a sunrise shoot on the beach because you never know what the weather might do on the morning or how overcast and hazy it will be when we wake up. I woke up, looked out the window and couldn’t wait to get to the beach as the sky looked clear, we were delighted with the warm tones of the sky as it created a soft, warm feel to their photos.

Tamara and Ruen are so easy to photograph, it felt like i had spent my morning chatting to friends. We were also fortunate that it was low tide which allowed us to get some pretty shots on and around the rocks below the lighthouse. Its clear that these love birds love each other a lot, i love capturing love stories, i can’t wait for your special day, i know its going to be a goodie.
