Aleta & Michael | Collisheen winter wedding

Aleta and Michael’s wedding at the beautiful Orchid House at Collisheen in Ballito was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and the coming together of family from across the globe.

What was meant to be a picture-perfect winter’s day however the weather had other plans. A chilly breeze turned into a blustery, windswept afternoon, but if anything, it made the day even more memorable. Rather than letting the weather dampen the celebrations, everyone embraced it wholeheartedly, creating moments that were authentic, joyful, and full of life.

One of the most beautiful parts of the day was witnessing two families and cultures come together. With loved ones travelling from different corners of the world, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, heartfelt reunions, and an overwhelming sense of happiness that could be felt throughout the day.

The wedding itself was the perfect example of simplistic elegance. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, allowing the focus to remain exactly where it belonged—on the love Aleta and Michael share and the people who came to celebrate alongside them.

Although I was with them for just five hours, those hours were filled with countless genuine, emotional moments that I had the privilege of documenting. From quiet glances to joyful laughter and everything in between, it was an honour to preserve these memories for them.

Aleta and Michael, thank you for trusting me to capture such an incredible chapter of your story. It was truly a privilege, and I wish you both a lifetime filled with love, adventure, and many more beautiful moments together.
