Linky du Toit completed her Business Communication degree (Cum Laude) at Potchefstroom University, majoring in 5 areas: Audiovisual Communication (Photography), Graphic Design, Applied Business Communication, Corporate Communication and Research. During this time she completed her Advanced Diploma in Photography at the PUK Centrum for Creativity, and internship and the SABC.
She completed her degree Cum Laude, being awarded academic honorary colours, and also being awarded the Absa Top Student of the Year award. She was top student in 3 of her 5 majors, one of which was Audiovisual Communication (Photography).
Linky also went on to lecture at the Potchefstroom University in the field of Photography and Audiovisual Communication, lecturing to 1st, 3rd and final year students. However, she left the University to enter the corporate world.
